• Suggested Yarn:​  Bravo 100% baby alpaca, (218 yards) 1 skein or 2 skeins of  Bravo Alpaca Petites.   Alternate: Superwash Merino 2 skeins

  Gauge: 26 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in hat ribbed pattern unblocked.

  Needles:16” circular US 2 (2.75mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm).  

  Notions: Stitch markers andtapestry needle to weave in ends.

  Finished size: Adult = 17” around X 8.25” tall unblocked.

This pattern was designed for comfort and versatility. It works great with alpaca yarn which is drapey and very soft.  For a version that can does not require hand wash try our new Superwash Merino.  The ribbed design offers structure to your hat and is knit at a tighter gauge to keep your head extra warm on those chilly nights.
