Mischa's Mittens

• Yarn: Berroco Vintage DK 1 skein in color #21176 Fuschia.
• Gauge:  24 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette st using US #5 (3.75 mm) needles blocked.
• Needles:  US 2 (2.75 mm) and US 5 (3.75 mm).
• Notions:  Stitch markers andtapestry needle to weave in ends.

• Finished Size:  3-4 toddler = 4” around (wrist) to 6.5” in length blocked (cuff to finger tips).

This pattern was designed to keep my niece’s daughter Mischa warm during the cold winter weather. We wanted a mitten that is machine washable and sturdy for our rambunctious youngsters as they enjoy the snow this winter.

These mittens are knit using themagic loop method for 2 @ a time in the round. These can be knit in an evening or two while you watch a movie or visit with friends. They are easy yet effective!
