• Suggested Yarn:​ Malabrigo Rios in color #128 Fresco Y Seco 1 Skein.
• Weight: Worsted
• Gauge:​ 20 sts and 26 rows in 4” in Stockinette stitch blocked.
• Circular Needles:​ US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 6 (4mm) 40-inch circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
• Notions:​ Stitch markers, darning needle

This sweater was designed for my 4.6 pound Maltese. I have also used it to make sweaters for my Cavalier and my mini Aussie. This Sweater is knit from the base of the tail up, all in one piece. The belly band and leg openings have 1X1 ribbing
which is nice and stretchy and sturdi for those areas that need it most! Then the leg openings are knit while the chest sts are put on waste yarn. After that’s complete the chest area is knit while the legs and back area is resting on your needles.
