This simple sweater starts at the sleeve cuff and is worked up and into the body; the stitches for one side are put on holders while the other side is knit, and then an exposed three-needle bind off is worked to form the structural element running down the center of the body.

• needles and notions: Two 29” circular needles, size 8 (5.00 mm) or size to obtain gauge, 16” circular needle, size 8 (5.00 mm), 1 set (4) double pointed needles, (dpns), size 8 (5.00 mm), 1 St marker, 4 St holders
• Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st To save time, take time to check gauge
