Mischa's Leg Warmers

• Yarn: Berroco Vintage D.K. 1 skein in color #21176 Fuchsia.

• Gauge: 24 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch using US #5 (3.75 mm) needles blocked.
• Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) 40” circular needles for the magic loop method.
• Notions: Stitch markers and tapestry needle to weave in ends.
• Finished size: 3-4 toddler = 6” around X 11” tall un-stretched and blocked. To make larger sizes use thicker yarn or larger needles. You can also increase or decrease the stitch count by multiples of 9.

This pattern was designed to keep Mischa warm during the cold winter weather. We wanted leg warmers that are machine washable and sturdy for our rambunctious youngsters as they enjoy the snow this winter.

These leg warmers are knit using the  magic loop method with 2 @ a time in the round.

They are knit starting at the bottom and ending at the top. These can be knit in an evening or two while you watch a movie or visit with friends. They are completely reversible and they are easy yet effective!
