We're having a ball introducing you to our first yarn line, Coeur d'Alene Yarns. The first yarn in the line is Sasquatch, a fingering yarn hand-dyed locally in the Pacific  Northwest and exclusive to Alpaca Direct!

Sasquatch is a sumptuous blend of 80% superwash Merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon. There are two types of this yarn, a tonal and a multi-color.

Kelley worked with the dyer to develop coordinating colors, one tonal and one multi, that are just perfect for creating gorgeous accessories, colorwork projects, and anything else you can think of. 

Here are a few of the combos.

This one is Rose Garden and Sugarplum, which Kelley is using in her Stonecrop Pullover by Andrea Mowry. Isn't it beautiful?

With the merino-cashmere blend, it's going to be so soft and warm. There's a little nylon in there, too, which will help the sweater hold it's shape nicely. 

Gorgeous blues here, in Rampage and Slated Blue. Knit up a sweater or shawl and wear it with your favorite jeans or denim jacket!

This one might be my favorite. Spectacular for fall, right? On the left is Sunrise in the Meadow, and at right is Nessy. 

Here is Tropical Sunset and Tartan. This combo is a stunner, isn't it? I'd love to see this in a 2-color brioche project. The contrast would be amazing! 

This blue pair, Pixie and Emerald Lock, brings to mind beachy vacations and summer fun. Knit up an airy lace shawl with this combination!
